H&R Coilover Warranty Experience




We all rave about the H&R coilovers but I recently had one of my 
fronts go south so I thought I'd share the warranty experience I had.

In a word....GREAT!  I've had the H&Rs for about 9 months and the car
recently developed a knock/clunk in the front suspension.  I don't
want to bore you with the troubleshooting details but in the end, it
was determined that the driver's side front coilover was bad.

I called the folks at H&R and reported the problem.  Christina had me
fax my original invoice and got back to me later the same day.  As
luck would have it, I only live 45minutes from H&R's Bellingham
location so I decided to drive down and pick up the replacement.  

Since I had already spent more than I had wanted diagnosing the 
problem (replacing strut bearings, etc) I asked if I could take the
replacement, have it installed and then ship the bad one back.  Not
only did they NOT have a problem with it, but they didn't even charge
me a core!

Basically this was the easiest warranty experience I have ever had.
I doubt there are many warranty returns with H&R but its comforting
to know that should something go wrong, they stand behind their
product and customers.
