Sounds exactly what the Miami Heat and Pat Riley did in his first season
there. (ie. trade for a good player, in this case we got 1 in the draft
in Mercer, and traded all the rest of the players for players with one
year left in their contracts, ie. Walt Williams and then having enough
cap space to rebuild.)
