I suppose they're assuming that the Lakers will take out their anger on
the Celtics? They forget that Atlanta lost 2 straight after winning
their first 11, and the second loss was to Detroit.
The Lakers also have done a lot of flying in the last 48 hours.
My only concern is that the game wasn't close enough last night to
really tire the Lakers, but if they were trying to catch up right up
until the last few minutes, maybe they'll be tired and will fall apart
in the 4th quarter tonight against Boston.
My other concern is that the Lakers are scoring more than any other team
in the NBA, so they may be used to up-tempo and fit enough to withstand
the Celtics' energetic defensive onslaught.
Look for the Lakers to get off to an early lead coming off their frustration
of last night, and look for Boston to come back as the Lakers tire.
