Boston can beat Denver

The Boston Celtics should beat Denver tonight.

 Denver Nuggets (0-5) at Boston Celtics (1-5), 7 p.m.

                         This is the first meeting of the season. Denver
prevailed, 82-80,
                    at  Boston  last  season.  The  Celtics have won two
of the last three
                    meetings.

                    A loss tonight would give the Nuggets their worst
start since 1995-96,
                    when they also went 0-6. Denver's worst start ever
is 0-7 (1979-80 and
                    1990-91). The Nuggets started a four-game eastern
road trip last night
                    with a 93-90 loss to the New York Knicks.

                    The Celtics have lost five in a row after opening
the  season  with  a
                    win over the Bulls at the FleetCenter. Boston has
also lost three in a
                    row at home since opening night.
