RE: selling a 99 A3



You always lose a monkey load in the first year, but then the "upside down"
point goes away after about 18-24 months, where the resale value is higher
then the loan principal. 

But my 95 with 80kmi is still worth $11k-12k when I paid $20,500 for it in
Early 1995. If you figure $0.30 per mile then I have surely gotten my dollar
back out the car....

Just because you have 19k left on the loan don't mean its worth 19k....
