RE: Fuel gauge
Oh yeah? Well, I've had it down to the black line past the last white line
beyond the last red line. Of course, that's with the car turned off.
Seriously, I've found that the trip odometer is a better "fuel gauge" than
the fuel gauge itself. When I hit ~250 miles, I know it's time for a fillup.
I've gone past 300 miles on a tank before, but why risk it? It's not like a
tube of toothpaste where you have to roll up the end to squeeze out the last
drop.
