I couldn't agree more. Remember, Reinsdorf told Pippen not to sign his
current contract because three years later he would be
grossly underpaid. Well, sure enough it happened, but Pippen
still wanted a new deal. Then he wants to play in a charity
game on an injured foot and he is offended when the team
says no. Now he's traveling with the team, on their
money, to scout potential teams he might like to play
for next year, all the while saying he's healthy enough to
play. Never mind the times he quit on his team because of
migraine headaches or because he wasn't chosen to take the
last shot. People can complain about Iverson, Garnett, Kemp
and the rest, but in my mind, there is no more reprehensible
player in the league.

Actually, Pippen has been complaining about his salary since the Bulls won their
first championship. He wanted to get out of Chicago as much as Horace Grant did.
I used to really like Pippen, but after living in Chicago during their 3 peat
and while MJ was playing baseball, I saw Scottie for what he really was. A big
baby.
I am not saying that he is not talented, I just wish he and many players in the
NBA could spend less time griping about money and look to Bird, Magic, MJ, etc
for how to deal with it. Of course Larry was more humble than most.
Just my thoughts.
