I would not call 37% from the field and 26%(9-34) from 3 point range a =
blistering pace. He was really not a great outside shooter at Colorado =
either.
When your center (Knight 41%)is the best 3 point shooter
on your team you have a problem.
Looking at the stats. Walker has taken twice as many shots as anyone on =
the team, and 27% from the 3 point line, and committed almost twice as =
many turnovers as anyone else.
As far as Billups the "he is young give him some time" this is true, but =
this guy is a # 3 pick ! He should be a lot more productive on the =
court then he is. Also "Give him some time" isn't that what everyone has =
said about Barros for the last 3 years ?

How is it that you can assess already that Billups can't shoot? I don't =
think shooting is his problem at this stage. Decision-making maybe. If =
you think back to last year, Antoine's shooting was awful for the most=20
part wasn't it? =20
Give Billups a break here. After all, he should be entering his Junior=20
year. All things considered, he's done better than I thought he would. =
If Walker could improve the shooting facet of his game over the summer,=20
what makes you think that Billups cannot improve his, or other phases of =
his game such as penetrating and dishing off the break?
Gary Payton struggled in this league his first few years.
