Billups at the 2

Steve, my problem with this kind of thinking is that it is way too soon to
give up on Billups. Most of the point guards coming out of college were
(are) shooters, then passers. Another problem is that getting a dependable
2-guard is a lot easier than getting a point guard. They have Mercer, Dana,
Minor, and Brown now.

The C's gave up on Dee Brown (IMHO)as a point guard way to soon years ago.
Dee could have been a solid, but not spectacular, point guard.

Too many teams make this mistake. Most players come into the NBA with some
idea of their position and how to play it. Most point guards though, are
made IN the NBA. Few come ready to play the position.
