I think Willy May is a nice guy. Trouble is, he's not professional. This
gosh, gee whiz stuff can only go so far. He's okay for the interviews as
he's doing now, and he's very likable, but give me a pro, please. They
haven't found a decent female to replace him, either. The one they had
last year couldn't read scores without tripping over her tongue, or saying
the same thing over and over - this one is actually better, I think, and
that isn't saying much. Mike Gorman did used to do the whole thing - the
pregame and the postgame. Don't know why he no longer does. Maybe it's
just too much preparation. Someone mentioned wondering how Cousy and
Gorman would be together. Would be interesting. I hate to knock Tommy,
you gotta love him, but I just hope he doesn't tell us every single game
all year how they have to learn the system. Not after years of listening
to them having to learn the running game.
