Point guards who were busts at first

Gee, how quickly we forget.  When Kevin Johnson came up, he lost his
confidence and almost quit the game.  Why, he got dogged every day by
Mark Price!   Then he got traded, and kinda bloomed down in Phoenix.
I remember reading an article talking about how depressed he got and
then, looking back on it later, he realized that he didn't understand
that the NBA was that much more difficult and that Mark Price, at that
time the second best point guard in the game was that good.  So, it
takes a while for some to grow.  Plus, we don't know what it's like
for a kid like Billiups to be told he is god for so long and then to
have disapproval thrown at him.   He needs the time to grow up.  And
hopefully, will not get traded before that occurs.  After all, he is
only a junior.  And point guard is the toughest position to master.

trade Billups.
