'Guess I'll add my 2 cents in...

I will be disappointed if RP trades this kid away w/o a decent look at him.
The point is, this team would be only marginally better with an outstanding
PG right now.  Let Billups grow some, as Walker, Mercer, McCarty and others
need to do.  He has shown flashes of great stuff.  If you will remember,
when Wesley started with the C's, he could not bring the ball up the court,
or shoot from the foul line out.


Of course the thing we can't see is how he looks in practice.  Most coaches
don't get much time in practicing during the season (with ML Carr being the
king of no-practice!)  but RP does.   Cousey and Heinson were talking about
a 3-hour practice that occurred on Thursday.

And finally, carrying on the new tradition someone on this list started
about ranting over names and name spelling, how about Cousey pronouncing
McCarty's name, and I mean his FIRST name!  He keeps calling him Waller...
