Ok, there's lots of talk about the "next trade" and
the need for a veteran point guard. And the fact
that Joe Smith is one of the players whose name keeps
cropping up. What do y'all think about getting Joe Smith
and Muggsy Bogues for Billups and whoever (you guys can
fill in the blanks of who to package up with Billups)?
No comments about a munchkin backcourt - hear me out. :)
After last night's showing in Golden State, Muggsy
showed us that the press has been blowing this
"bad knee" thing all out of proportion. He looked
great, and the Warriors couldn't keep up with him.
He truly fired up a dead, dead warriors team. Also
last night we saw how much better the Celtics look
with a legitimate point running the show. Just think
if we had *two* legitimate points on the team.
So whaddya think - Muggsy comes on board to give
veteran leadership (and a HUGE heart) to the team,
teaches Tyus some tricks of the trade (although
he's got plenty of tricks in his bag already),
and the team learns about TEAM play.
