smoke and trades

Where there's smoke, and seemingly lots of it, there's probably a Celtics
trade coming up. After reading the Globe this morning it certainly seems
like Billups is going soon. Steve Nash? I forget where I read it, I think
on the CBS Sportsline site, but apparently after the loss to Miami Tim
Hardaway took Billups aside and told him to stay positive. Hardaway told
Billups that after watching him on film he knows Billups can play. I hope
this trade, if it happens, doesn't come back to haunt them. It certainly
would be a shame if Billups goes to some other team and becomes a star. Oh
well. You certainly can't say Pitino's "asleep at the wheel."
