At least once, since it's on the video, but is the version on the Join Together set the same version or another from the tour? I agree, it's not easily or often done live. However, The Who have done songs just as difficult.

Now I'm confused. Are you talking about the video "The Who Rocks America"? If it's on that video, that would be cool. But, that's not even from the same tour as Join Together, so it has to be a different version, right?

According to http://www.thewho.net/concertguide/1982/ they played it at ten of the shows on the 1982 tour. The one I attended, Worcester, MA, happened not to be one of them. There are no setlists on that site from 1967. They did also play it often in 1989 (48 times, by my count!), once in 1997 (Oslo), and once in 2002 (Mansfield I). So, they played it more on the 1989 tour than all other performances combined.

So, is there really a video of ICSFM from the 1982 tour? TWRA is not available on DVD though, right? How about bootlegs? As I said, I like the Join Together version, but I was hoping for a better one with Pete playing lead. Still considering getting Mansfield I, despite the luke warm reviews. I'm amazed this song has been played maybe only 20 times other than the 1989 tour.
