Re: scary stuff, sad stuff

> It really would be nice if you guys could come to terms, rather than declaring turf
battles.

Lela:

Tell it to the guy who wouldn't. And privately, if you don' t mind.

> Actually I think it would be better to settle your differences here,

"To dream...the impossible dream..." How's that for a musical to do? Man of La Insanity, we could call it.

> Well, not that I expect all of my posts to be enjoyable, cause some
aren't particularly enjoyable to me either.

Kevin:

Personally, I've never seen why being controversial or having an unpopular stance (which sparks discussion, which is rather good for a discussion forum, isn't it?) to be a bad thing. Yet I get attacked for it on a fairly regular basis. Maybe it's the vast half-wit conspiracy...we know who they are...

> I guess that's the price I pay for opening up?

Help, stop being so negative, man. Pick up some good vibrations...oops, wrong list again...

>S*** was spewed by all concerned, by the look of the archives.

Lela:

That's crap. I know you want to be upbeat about this whole thing, and all hippy dippy, but even a casual glance will show where the ugliness came from. One person, out of nowhere, for no reason.

> agree, but prior to John's death there was a whole bunch of momentum
going.

Kevin:

I know. I was fully into it. Looking forward to a new album, looking forward to seeing them live again.

>Hell, there are many on this list who still strongly believe there is a
tour coming in '04.

I sincerely and wholeheartedly hope not. Half a Who is not better than none. If they go out as Daltrey/Townshend (the DT's)...that's different.

> Well, although it has been important to me, I hope you don't blame me
for it's continuation.

No, almost everyone has been part of it...including myself.

> What, no good?

The topic fills each digest, that's all. It's overwhelming.

> Yes, but he was still a bad boy.

Yeah, well. That used to be a good thing.

Lela:

>But, since they're actually hundreds of miles apart and this is the
21st century, they just continue to snarl at each other through email lists.

Now, I bear you no ill will...but I'm starting to get annoyed with you trying to make it all even-handed and both of our faults, because that's not the case AT ALL and people who know the complete story have told you point blank that this is not the case. OK? Point A, and we needn't even go farther than point A, is that even if Jeff hates my guts and even if I did him the complete and horrible wrong he imagines, he still had no business to bring it to this list. By doing so, he is the guilty party by any measure you care to use. I did not do this. He did. Point made.

> Okay, I move we table the discussion until Mark is feeling better. All
in favor?

How about leaving it out entirely and forever, as it has no place here?

> THERE IS NOTHING FALSE IN THE WORD OF GOD. READ THE BIBLE AND YOU`LL SEE IT

Helen:

I read the bible cover to cover years ago, and there are glaring contridictions and double standards. It was written by humans and is therefore flawed. Don't let the bible get in the way of your spiritual growth.
