No joy in Mudville

> That kind of a curious business strategy. Why do you suppose they're
giving
> it away first and then selling it later?

Keets:

I wonder about this myself. My only explanation would be that they figure
once you listen to it, you'll want to buy "the real thing." This would
suggest that downloads aren't as fine a sound quality, or as reliable, or
something. I haven't tried to download anything yet, and who knows the spec
comparision?

> Baltimore too. They've closed my kids' schools today. However, it won't

> Well, now I know where the name came from!

Carol:

It's hard to be macho when there are trees flying by your window.
We got a lot of high wind, and serious water (trying to get back to my
house was like "Over the river and through the woods," considering the
amount of water flowing over the roads and trees down), but basically
escaped with little real damage. It DID take me 2 1/2 hours to go roughly
10 miles to my house.

> Aw...Mention, mention! I'm not familiar with their catalog enough to

Riding The Storm Out. And good for you for not being familiar. Don't waste
your time.

There's no joy in Mudville (like I said, a LOT of water).

> The storm had slowed down some before it hit, thank goodness. Cape Fear,

> for certain.

Keets:

It always seems to pass us and hit the NC border, which IS sticking out a
bit to be sure. They've gotten 6 storms in the last four years.

Jeremy:

DVD? This implies some video, and as far as I know there was none made. Any
details?

> How about just enough to open your mind but not enough to screw up your

Keets:

I'm buying.

> Welcome back, Mark, and congrats on making it back in one piece. I guess

Thanks, and yes...there was a time Wednesday when the entire East coast was
under Floyd's influence. Biggest storm I've ever seen. But there's nothing
wrong with the ozone layer; perish the thought...
