Scott - I'm afraid I can't let this one go by without responding to
it....being a victim of an armed (*knife-wielding*) robber in closed quarters
is DEFINITELY more dangerous than it sounds....there are police videos
that PROVE an armed person with a knife can overcome/overpower a
person with a gun!!!! :<

In either event being on the receiving end of either IS TERRIFYING!!!
People are too lackadaisical in the REAL consequences of weapons of any kind...   
we have been numbed by TV and video almost beyond repair...but believe
thee me when you are actually looking at a blade coming at you in close quarters
you can't help but realize how sharp the knife is and how vulnerable you TRULY are!
