To Sell or Not to Sell

Ok Guys....Need some help here...

Current car -

96 GLX VR6 Supercharged, Engine fresh from rebuild (Voluntary), Lowered 
compression with copper gasket to 9.5:1.  AMS Supercharger, Brospeed Header, 
custom built exhaust, black European Dash now replaces the ugly brown dash 
that was in from factory, H&R Coilovers, 17" Abt A23 Wheels, A3 Golf front 
swap with A4 Golf Lights, and much much more....tons invested, show 
winner.....

Problem.....
I am not sure wether to sell or not....I have been eyeing up a new MK4 1.8t 
and adding the Konigseder Body Kit from 1552 Designs.  Is the 1.8t worth 
selling a VR6 Supercharged with 270 HP?  I like my car a lot and really have 
no complaints, but at the same time....what more can I do before I am told by 
the better half, "ok I have had it."
