RE: can't stand my jetta right now
I used to have lots of trouble with this sqeaking and creaking in my 98 GLX.
Anything that twisted the frame a little, like uneven road surfaces,
potholes, RR tracks, fast turns, etc. made it squeak. Since I started
applying a silicone product to the door gaskets AND greasing the door latch
and strike mechanisms with petroleum jelly, the noise has nearly stopped. I
have to add more silicone every couple months. Actually, the silicone
product has nothing to do with cars. It is a very thin, non-greasy,
food-grade aerosol spray made by the Kold Draft company to coat the plates
in ice makers so the ice cubes release properly. I just spray some on a rag
and wipe it on. It's VERY slippery! I made the mistake of getting some on my
kitchen floor once.

Gummipflege is a GREAT product--really restores faded, dried, cracked rubber
to practically new--however, it won't help with the squeaking.
BTW the part # for the isolation tape is AKL 433-012-04.
