RE: [VW-VR6] Hella horns

Marc,

I installed them in the driver's side bumper area, right beneath the
battery. There are holes there that will accomodate the horns and compressor
(although it's a very tight fit). I just followed the instructions on the
wiring. Be patient; I figured it would be a one hour job at most, so after
an hour of fiddling around I started to get frustrated and made the job
worse. Make sure all your connections are waterproof--my horns stopped
working after a few months because all the electrical connections corroded.
The horns are loud, and sound great.
