It's from the June 2000 issue of Performance VW magazine.
I personally think this car is sick!  Just imagine riding around in this
monster (4wd + 900hp).  I would hope this would be a good enough match-up
with
a Viper or Porsche.  I'll have to check out the issue again when I get home
to
see if they ever posted any numbers.

BTW...  When in the hell would you ever see an Audi R8R on the streets,
driving
around with a group of other "sports cars"?  The Audi R8 class race car is
irrelevant to this discussion.
