anyone import a Jetta?

hi

i am importing a jetta this month from Canada to the US.  right now the 
seller is waiting for the papers from VW that says that the car meets US 
saftey and emmisions standards so i can get it into the US.  It is a 95 
jetta glx with all the fixin's including suspension, p-flow and p-chip for 
12,500.  anyone have any tips or sugestions beings that i wont be able to 
see the car or drive it at all.  Is there anything i need to look for?
