Re: Yokohama AVS Intermediates??????



Kelly Chargers.  Ack!  Do NOT waste your money on those things.  When I 
lived in Germany, I bought them because they were cheap and I was a bit low 
on cash at the time.  I had them put on my 89 Scirocco.  I drove away, went 
through the first set of twisties, pulled over, turned around and headed 
back to the tire shop.  I had them yank them off and put different tires on 
there.  I'm not kidding you.  They are *that* bad.  It felt like I was 
driving in a bowl of Jello.  And yes, the tire pressures were correct.  The 
$58 snow tires I have on the Jetta feel better than those things did.

If I rememember correctly, the salesman mentioned they are made by Good 
Years.  Apparently they are bottom line.  Good Years themselves are bad 
enough!
