Re: fuel filter replacement
I don't know if the VR6 fuel filter is similar to the on my A2 car, but if
it is, be sure to replace the washers for the bolts that hold the fuel lines
to the filter. These are meant to make a good seal only once. If you reuse
them, there is a good chance that you will have a fuel leak. These washers
are sometimes included with the filter. If they are not, you can take the
old ones to any parts store to have them matched up, & even the dealer has
them for pretty cheap.
