Ahhh, quite true...  My original post was, indeed, regarding inexpensive 
hiperf tires.
eTires.com offered me my beloved RE71s for $78 + $9.50 shipping per tire. 
That beats even tirerack by a small margin. Considering how much in love I am 
with the RE71s, I think they will again be my choice. Besides, can anyone 
give me the name of an on-line discounter that carries Toyo tires???????? A 
challenge!!!!!

<< Also, I believe the original post indicated that the were interested in an
 inexpensive performance tire. I've heard great things about the T1s, but
 they are expensive. At $77 a pop, the AVS-I is pretty hard to beat. >>
