Re: short shift kit

I had the AWE (Air and Water Enterprises, http://www.awe-tuning.com)
short shift in a 95 GTI VR6. It reduced the throw at least 50%. It was
quite notchy at first, but loosened up with time. It made the car so
much more fun to drive. I believe he is selling them for $195 these
days. He does it by core exchange, so you save a little money compared
to the 'other' short shifters. If you haven't dealt with Todd before, I
can ensure you he sells/builds quality products and can be trusted. He
is also a dealer for Garrett chips. If you don't have one already,
order one of those too. :-)
