RE: Speaking of weird noises...

I'm not a big car guy so I'm going to ask a stupid question. Where are those
located on the car? The noise is coming from the back.

My car (1998 GLX) was making squeaking noises as well. Primarily while it
was still somewhat cold, but occasionally whenever it felt like it! :-)

Turned out I needed a new Drive Belt and Pulley.

I have been getting a weird whooshing sound from what
sounds to be the back of the car. Actually I can't
really trace it at all. What I do know it happens
regardless if the gearbox is engaged or not while
rolling so I have ruled out that. I thought it was CV
joints but there is no clicking sounds if I hold the
wheel all the way over.

My next thought is that it might be the pads just
rubbing against the rotors. The rotors don't seem hot
after I have driven it at all so they aren't binding.

Bearings? CV joints? Crappy GA tires making too much
noise?

Any ideas?

TIA
