The Porsche brakes are "cast" with the cross drilled pattern in them; thus they
retain the integrity of the metal; whereas drilling, makes them more brittle

i think that the TRUE enthusiast will have higher quality, cast rotors; not the
conventional cross drilled that are affordable to the masses of the after
market.....
