It was very hard to find a place to order one for my 99.5 GLX VR6, but
finally I got a local speedshop guy to call K&N and went through 2 people
there, in the long run, an engineer told him the VW Beetle one was the same
exact one that would be released for the Jetta GLX VR6. Unfortunately I dont
have the box anymore.. I will check to see if its marked on the filter
itself.. but it fit like a glove.. its the drop-in, not sure if thats what
your looking for.

parts computer doesn't seem to go pass 1997.
