RE: New Dimension Exhaust Experiences

No...sorry if I confuzed you.. ;)

The thing at the rear of the car is the muffler (the one connected to the
exhaust tip). The one in the middle is the resonator. On my 95 GLX the rear
muffler is like 1/2 the size of the resonator. The resonator must have
weighed like 30 pounds.

When I put on my AutoTech SS304 exhaust it eliminated the center resonator.
Some aftermarket exhausts change the center resonator from the big can stock
thing to something that's half the size (a performance resonator?). The AM
ones are hot-dog shaped. The stock resonator is the size of the fuel tank on
a old Rabbit, like gigantic.

My previous comments about what removing the resonator does still apply.
Take a peek at Bentley, I think it shows the sizes appropriately. I just
remember the center unit being massive compared to the stock Leistritz
muffler. The stock exhaust on the GLX was pretty good, just TOO quiet.
I kept trying to start my car while it was running like a durned Honda
owner... ;)

Hope this helps
