STEREOS HELP!!??

please help me!  i dont know whether to buy a panasonic cd changer to go with 
my 98 glx bose system, or to replace the hed unit, if i do replace the head 
unit id like to hear your opinions from thos of you that have done this as to 
how it sounds comparably spaking of course.  two places have told me they can 
install head unit with no problems (they think).  also do i need a antenna 
amplifier?  im looking into a jvc head unit and a kenwood both for about 
250-300.  they seem to be good, how will they sound with bose speakers and 
what will it do to the fact that the bose speakers are pre amped?  (i think 
right?)

please helpe me im tired of listening to tapes
