Bose CD changer

The only 6-disc Panasonic changer that I've been able to find is the
CX-DP601, and it seems to be pretty hard to come by.  Most car audio
places that I've looked at (both locally and on the web, including
Circuit City) don't carry Panasonic.

Bingo! CX-DP601 was the exact changer I had in my hot little hands. Seems Best
Buy may be dropping the Panasonic line and they had one left.  Since a correct
trunk adapter wasn't available I returned it.  If P.I.E. now has the correct
adapter I may have to check back with Best Buy.  I don't know if our head unit
will control an eight CD changer.  I am in no way an audio expert so I may need
some help here.  I do know that the adapter from Crutchfield was for the head
unit and then you had to run the wire to the trunk. I am definitely going to
check into P.I.E.  Will inform the group if I find anything out.
