so do I and most Celtic fans. But Way's never happy with EVERY Celtic
move. (was he like this since the ML days? I didn't discover this
newsgroup till Ricky was on board)

Larry Brown/Billy King must be the suckiest managers around.

Honestly, we got out of a bad situation as best as possible, in my
opinion. We turn someone who's going to take up a roster space,
rotting on the bench (Battie/Pot/Blount/Walker gets all the PF/C
minutes) for the next 2 years into a 1 year contract player + no.1
pick. I last read that Mcleod play some charity game at Duke few days
ago and contributed 24 points. The fact that he played put to death
those rumours that he's injured or damaged goods (yet).
on another point, don't you think that when you give someone your
undesirable (Moiso), the other GM going to give you his trash? i think
even if Mcleod is trash, his 1 year left + no.1 pick still presents
good return on a wasted pick (Moiso).
Way was suggesting why didn't we wait till Feb dateline, when we could
showcase Moiso more, squeeze even more value out of any trade. Well,
Moiso could turn out worse and we might need to do a KA+3 no.1 picks
offer begging others to take him off our hands.
I think Wallace is doing things *sensibly*ever since Ricky left the
show. Let's give Wallace this season before jumping to conclusions.
>Walkers "workng out" every summer. Do NOT play NBA Live 99 against him.
Last few summers' work out regime consist mostly of pick up games, I
think he was not motivated enough to play FOR Ricky. This summer's
different, you can almost tell. Walker's down to 220 lbs as reported
by Globe (or the herald?). Let's give Walker this season before
flunking him already.
>Pierce on the C's is like throwing the Hope diamond into a mound of pig

At least we were able to convince Pierce to comitt long term here (of
course the money was irresistable). If he didn't believe in his
teamates and managment, he would have done what Cwebb did - shop
around later.

Let's see how Radman and Zach (and Haywood) will do this season, I
trust Wallace's selections.
