the case for Palacio

He's durable and he plays defense.  That's it. 
Anderson and Brown aren't durable and only Brown can
defense a decent point.  Palacio will be able to start
and finish the season, meaning we will soon need only
two points plus Forte to handle the position.

I also like Khalid, but I wouldn't mind too much if we
can't arrange to get him.  He will be a defensive
liability and that mitigates against his offense. 
Palacio can handle the ball adequately and get it to
AW and JJ to create.  That's enough for this team for
now.  (Having said that, I'd love for Milt and Khalid
to be our two points).

The same case can be made for Blount.  With him we
only need two centers, making Battie or Vitaly
expendable, altho' I wouldn't hurry in that direction,
our not having a capable backup to Antoine.

Too bad we can't trade away our baggage.  Gene
