if charlotte was the turning point...
It wouldn't be the first time. I remember last year, a mail-in at Charlotte
when we were one game
under .500 marked the turning point too. I mean, you can make a lot
of excuses -- Pierce's back injury, etc. -- but the bottom line is that the
game was there for the taking; no way should the final shot have been
a palacio drive. Pierce and Walker should have been the first, second,
third, and fourth options. When I look at the Pacers' charmin-soft
schedule,
it makes me sick to think of that bunch of wussies making the playoffs.
I hope we kill them to death next friday, and that it means something.
The one hope is that Boston is still a better road team than a home team,
for whatever reason. On the other hand, Indiana should be beating us,
given that we have so much less talent than they; but I hate them anyway.
I hate everybody who is in our way. And boy, can I not wait until we have
a starting five who can make open jump shots to a man.
This is it...the homestretch.
