I agree, although I can't help but scratch my head on why he would have
traded Mercer, who seemed to fit his system quite well, for Fortson, who
clearly doesn't fit it at all.  I still don't buy the line about money
being the issue.  You don't pay a coach $50 million and then get stingy on
paying the players.  If Gaston is really that stupid I'd suggest he pay a
rookie coach at  $1 million/year and free up a few million per year to
pay his players.
