Bit of the pot calling the kettle black syndrome here I suspect. Though our
season has been less successful than we had hoped, Pitino is not a complete
buffoon where it really counts, on the court. He has pulled the reins
during 2 wins over Toronto, a 10 point win over Indy, a 6 point win over NY,
a 12 point beating of Miami, an 8 point defeat of Sacramento, a 3 point win
over Phoenix, a 25 point pasting of Seattle and last night's huge upset in
Utah.

I don't really care about his demeanor or what he says to members of the
media, and as a coach, much of what he says about particular players could
be a motivational ploy. But in neglecting to remember, or mention, that
his preparation and dedication has been instrumental in these games, is
merely turning a blind eye to it. Sure there is more that needs to be
accomplished, but nobody said it would be easy.
