COY and Russ

Just went to the ESPN site to vote for COY. That was a
tough one, for me at least. Liked Riles and Brown (he
sure does improve every team he coaches; he even got
the Clips to the playoffs...makes you wonder Gaston),
but had to give it to Doc. What a job he has done this
season, with a stripped down, prepared for the free
agent onslaught team. I ponder were the Magic that
good with Daly, or is Doc a supreme motivator. I must
say management now has a problem: should they advance
what they have or make that big free agent splash that
may hurt the team's chemistry. I will go on record
with this: obviously go for Duncan if you can, but
whoever signs Hill will be sorry. I think he'll be the
next Penny Hardaway, rarely heard from after his big
deal. He hasn't done a whole lot with the Pistons
(playoff wise) and he may be a cancer if he winds up
on the Magic. Just my .02...

Can't wait for the Russell show. Thanks for the
update. Seeing the C's for the past decade is not the
only thing making me sad...the way he was treated in
Boston and in the South saddens me as a C's fan and
sickens me as a fellow human being. How would he have
been treated if he didn't win all the time (Twoine) or
how about if he was white? But I digress...
