NBA stars

I said top five in the NBA, not in NBA history. My
top five (in no particular order): Payton, Duncan,
Iverson, Pippin, Hill. As for Karl Malone, I feel he
should be awarded the ODB for his efforts as an "old
dirty bastard," as well as for his shameless
exploitation of "superstar" calls. (to be fair, I
guess Malone belongs on the short list as well.) But
my point is that Penny doesn't even belong on the same
list of 2nd tier stars as Mourning, Mike Finley, Kevin
Garnett, et al. At this point in his career, he's
basically just a scorer, and a streak scorer at that.
