Let's see.  Can one of you historian types give us the list of who had first 
pick year by year?  I betcha that there's all sorts of teams at the top, not 
just the big market teams.  I also see no reason why the NBA would want to 
push Chicago more than NY or LA or Boston.  And remember, whoever pointed out 
the history of Boston-LA is 100% right.  I bet the NBA would love to see 
Celtics-Laqers in the finals.  And the Kobe Broadcasting Company - oops, NBC 
- wouldn't mind it either.

What if the Lakers trade Kobe to, say, Charlotte?  Poor NBC!
