Re: Sporting News - Walker next scoring champ?



If Anderson plays a full season, then I think Walker this year has a good
chance to score 23-25 ppg. Unlike last year he won't  double and triple team
inside because both Mercer and Pierce can score from the outside.
On another note, I watched Jayson Williams and Jamison play yesterday night
and was immediately reminded, how lucky we are to get Pierce with the 10th.
Jayson is good but he is not in PP's class and contrary to speculations, I
didn't feel he is as good as Bibby. Bibby is a better passer, but maybe that
is just one game and I am yet to see him play in the NBA. Jamison came for
some limited minutes of the bench and looked like he was struggling to get
into flow of things. By the way Sacramento, could be a dark horse in the
western conference, they have a pretty impressive front line including
players coming of the bench. - Mishra
