The Celtics used to be the Raptors, no wonder the C's beat them!

It's nice to see some light after so many (it feels like more than a few)
years of darkness. the Celtics are no longer permanent cellar-dwellars.

My observations from last night are that we finally have a team. Some
legitimate starters (ok, no real center yet) and some real good role
players. Heck, our bench used to start so they do have some experience. I
am really optimistic about this year.

Why can't we get players like Dee Brown?

Paul Pierce and Ron Mercer are big time team players, athletes, etc. These
are the type of guys that you keep for as long as you can. They are
PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYERS.

Without Kenny, there is no offense. Long live Kenny's knee.

Did anyone notice that everyone on the team contributed?  Mr. Walker was
quite quiet.

Ron Mercer is my new FAVORITE player. Pretty moves!  He had one move on the
baseline where he cross-over dribbled, left the defender leaning badly,
drove to the hoop and did a reverse with two guys closely on him quickly.

I missed the Celtics and I didn't even know it.
