Just a quick reality check here. If the Celtics are
 1. much less talented than the rest of the league
 2. so poorly coached compared to the rest of the league
how come they are 10-12 instead of 4-18 or something? How have they
been beating more talented and better coached teams such as Miami,
Indiana, Charlotte, Toronto, and NY?

Now without Pierce, Potapenko, and Fortson, I'll agree that they have
less talent than the average NBA team. I think that just about every
team in the NBA is below average when you take out their best player
and two other starters, except Portland maybe. Has Pitino done a bad
job rebuilding because he hasn't yet constructed a team that can win
while missing three key players?

With just Fortson out, the Celtics have a winning record. How about
waiting until he comes back and watching for a whole season before
judging?
