Well, yes, I think it is.  That would be a "fair-weather team", one that
plays when they have the guns, but tanks when they don't.  I'm not so sure
they really tanked any games last year, but if they did, I think that gives
every fan more than enough justification to treat them with similar
enthusiasm.  Tanking games is not a part of the Celtics in which I have my
pride.  That is nothing to be proud of.

You suffer with your team

I think the pedestal is intolerance.  You do suffer when your team loses.
And you get downright disgusted if they would ever give even a hint of
tanking a game.  And you lose enthusiasm for watching their poor brand of
basketball as much as when they have a talented team out there.  Its not a
matter of being a fair-weather fan.  You still check the box scores, still
wish they would win, but would rather do something else than watch the team
you love make a mockery of their game.

Relax, we're all in this together.  We're a part of this list because we do
like the Celtics, and do suffer with their losses and get excited with
their victories.  Save the heat for the Knicks fans.
