When I see the Celts winning games, having a good record at this
moment (7-6), I see other teams win alot too, I see other teams lose
alot, then I start to think. A few years back, it seemed that almost
every team could beat every team. Only like 5 or 6 teams were good
enough to win many games. Now, you see a big difference. It's either
you win alot, or you lose alot. Just look at the stats. There are
like 10 teams in the east with a winning record. The teams with a
losing record just simply suck. 1-11, 2-8, 1-10 records like that.
Same thing in the west. So if this will keep on going, we'll see
teams with a winnning record not making the play-offs. I don't expect
to see the Celts end with a winning record, but I think they'll end
up with a .4?? record. The Celtics don't need alot more young stars
from the next draft anymore. This team should be good enough to
become a good team. But if you want to be good in this league at this
moment, you need to be an excellent team now. There are so many good
teams around now, that will make it even harder to win something in
the future.
P.S. have you seen Dee Brown getting back to a decent level? Almost
the top 3-point shooter, he's got one of the highest FG% (he used
shoot like crap).
