For what it's worth, I recall a game in Bird's younger years (also in
NJ), when he reacted to a call by faking throwing the ball at the ref. 
He got tossed.  Then there was the game in Utah when he got suckered
into a fight with hatchet-man Allen Bristow.  Both were tossed, but
which team came out ahead?  Walker will become wiser with time, just as
Bird did.  Maybe Red remembers those incidents, too, and will have a
chat with Toine.
