Boston Celtics (5-5) at New Jersey Nets (5-3), 7:30 p.m
This is the first meeting of the year between the two
teams. New
Jersey swept the four-game season series from Boston last
year and has
won 13 of the last 17 encounters with the Celtics.
The Celtics have won four in a row overall and two
straight on
the road. They defeated Toronto Tuesday night to even their
record on
the road at 2-2. Boston is just 1-3 versus the Atlantic
Division.
The Nets halted a three-game skid Sunday with a
five-point
victory at Cleveland. New Jersey is 3-1 at home and 1-0
against the
Atlantic Division.
