TONIGHT'S GAME

I saw the game, and it was a good one. I think Chauncy has improved
every game, and what more can you ask of a young player? McCarty was
player of the game. Cousy said he's growing on him, he thinks he's just
going to get better and better. I love McCarty, he's such a spark
plug. I love the enthusiasm he shows - you don't see it that much in
modern players. Nice to see. Once again, I think they all played
well. Considering they were missing two key players, and they were on
the road, this was a real surprise, at least to me, and back to back
games, at that. This should build their confidence for being on the
road, which is a really big plus. Once they're convinced they can win
on the road, they will. I think they simply wear teams down, but if
they drop any more players to injury, they won't be able to do that as
effectively. Even Greg Minor had a reasonably good game, the best since
the old days I've seen him play. It took all of them, and they all did
the job. They don't play again until Tuesday night, so maybe at least
one of the injured players will be able to play by then?
