Tonight's game

Hey, was that letter hand-delivered to Chauncey before the game or
something? Finally, a game worthy of a #3 pick. Not a great shooting
night  for him, according to the boxscore, although it didn't seem that
way watching the game. Best of all, he threw a couple of decent passes
on the break! There may be hope after all. We'll see whether the
progress continues tomorrow. Walker had one of the best (if not the
best) games of his young career, owning the boards, shooting well, and
generally carrying the team much like Bird and Magic used to. Most
everyone played well, pulling off a win despite losing two of our better
players and missed foul shots down the stretch. Speaking  of the
injuries, I wonder if we might get to see Rogers, as it may take a few
games for Bowen to recover enough to play. 
Btw, the possibility of acquiring Sprewell is enticing, although GSW
would probably still want too much for that supremely talented head
case. Anybody think Pitino could fix his head up and use him? I mean,
Jackson's still been getting quite a bit out of Rodman, crazy or not.
Best of all, quite a few of our long-term contracts would fit into
Sprewell's slot, if GSW ever went for that.
